A boot drive failure followed by a restore failure in Windows backup (thank you Mr Gates) seriously compromised the Chorus’ planning for the forthcoming Mozart choral concert in Sheffield City Hall. Data recovery took just three days and my blood pressure returned to normal. Thanks again Andy

I am the Editor of a magazine and suffered a hard drive failure on the week before deadline. Andy from R3 took the matter seriously from the moment I rang and within a few hours the drive had been collected from my home, and was being worked on. Throughout the process I was informed almost hourly as to the progress, and reassured that most of the data could be recovered. Literally 36 hours later I had all of the data recovered and delivered to my office on a new hard drive. I have honestly never received better customer service. I would recommend anyone in this dire situation to ring R3. You will be in very safe hands.

Really really pleased with the service I received, my broken memory stick containing important documents and photographs, was dealt with superbly. Quick, efficient, I was kept updated with the progress and received the salvaged information copied to a new memory stick in what was a very quick turnaround.

R3 Data Recovery were unbelievably fast in their response to our query and even faster when it came to actual work being completed. They came with quotation within minutes from sending an email and assured us that all the effort will be taken to meet our needs and deadline. They have recovered all sensitive survey data from an encrypted SSD disk over the weekend and have communicated thoroughly during the process. Their fast courier pick-up and drop-off assured that from Friday night panic we ended up with all data restored and delivered by Monday morning. Definitely recommended service and should we ever need this again (and let’s hope not) we know where to come.

Recommendation of the highest order needs to go to R3 Data recovery company and specially to Andy Butler that have gone over and beyond the call of duty to help us recover the data from a corrupted/ blocked 1TB harddrive!
They accepted to see me after hours and on the weekend as there was urgent data needed to finish a project and went onto recover all of our treasured backed up photos of our family life as well as all the folders of our working life…These guys are to be recommended and trusted with any disaster and if they cannot recover it, then no-one else could!Thank you guys for saving our digital lives.

I was delighted with the service from the R3 team. My daughter, a teacher, had two years of lessons on a USB stick. She had tried another company after being told the charge would be either around £100 or around £200. But when they received the stick, they said they needed to buy a widget to sort out the problem, and that the cost would be around £385. So I asked them to send me the stick back.
Then I then went to the team at R3 Data Recovery. They gave me an order number over the phone and I then wrote a letter, enclosed it with the stick, and sent it off to Sheffield on a Friday. R3 told me it would be either £79 plus VAT or £149 plus VAT. They notified me on Monday that it had arrived, and on Tuesday morning that they sent me a list of files they could recover. The charge was £79 plus VAT. I paid by bank transfer, and later that day they uploaded all the files into a Dropbox folder. So a hearty recommendation from me.
What impressed me particularly, their success apart, is that if R3 had said it was £149 plus VAT I would have paid without questioning them. But they didn’t. Excellent service.

Faced with the losing everything on my current work stick, I was on the verge of disaster when, fortunately, I was put in touch with R3 Data Recovery. They explained the options, offered an ultra high speed service and, importantly, gave me hope that recovery was possible. This hope was justified, with virtually all the files intact. The additional extra of having the data available electronically almost immediately was marvellous - incredibly useful. Thank you R3.

It was an experience I don’t wish to go through again. Panic, sweats, tears and fear! I called a few companies and R3 was the only one who showed some ‘human’ understanding of what is was like to loose all your data. I’m not computer minded & found the straight talk such a relief after all the ‘tech jargon’ which just made me feel more stupid. The profesional and human touch is so rare to find in businesses these days. All my data was recovered in less than 24hrs, it was so easy and I felt safe and in expert care the whole time. I also felt that I wasn’t being taken for a ride due to my ignorance, which is an impression I got from phoning around other companies. The 5* review can’t do justice here, it was unbelievable service & an experience that restores faith in ethical business with real humans!!!

The hard drive failed on my MacBook Pro. Applestore advised they couldn’t recover the data when they fixed the laptop, and that the data would be lost (including my photos that had not been backed up). I described the issue with R3 by phone, and they were confident they could recover the data and confirmed the cost. It took just 16 hours from registering with R3 that I wanted them to look at the failed drive, to being notified what data had been recovered. I was kept informed of progress throughout, and all my files were recovered.
